I like to watch for a flash of lightning, and then count until I hear the thunder boom! Then I guestimate how far away the storm is!

Yeah. They also follow storms, hoping to get any information on tornadoes. Examples include VORTEX, STEPS, and other teams. I personally want to be a member of VORTEX and focus on tornadoes.
I like watching the rain fall onto the ground and then watch it splash. I also like when you hear a loud boom signaling lightning and I do like to think it's god bowling. You know why? Because since god is supposed to be big and powerful and all, so think of the size of the bowling ball!? :) I love your blog so I'll put your button on mine! Chect it out at..

Thanks! I like to think of tornadoes as the finger of God. They said that in Twister, actually. My friend hates tornadoes and calls them Mother Nature's devils.

I watch as the lightning touches down not a yard away from me. It is like slow motion. I see the flash of lightning, I see the terrible yet beautiful power in the bolt that's hotter than the sun. I reach out, as if to catch it, but of course I can't. And then thunder's rumbling boom hits me like a fist in my ears. I stand there, shocked, at the pure mightiness of the storm. I reach up, and as I do, raindrops start to fall, their gentle, cool wetness kissing my astounded face.
You like? I dunno if it's good or what, but I like your blog! Storms are really powerful and awe-inspiring, if you really think about it.
